The valve position indicator is a precision gear motor that indicates the flow of a specific amount of oil through the device, with a window showing the position of the amount of oil passing through.
The gears rotate according to the flow of fluid and the direction of flow. A built-in micro-gearbox, the gear ratio of which is selected to suit the displacement, transfers the movement of the gear motor to the indicator shaft. There is no mechanical connection between the gear motor and the indicator shaft. The rotational motion of the hydraulic gear is transmitted to the indicator shaft via a magnetic clutch. This eliminates possible external leaks. The indicator arrow moves within an adjustable scale angle between 75° and 200°.
